Exceedingly rare high quality vintage Lenci/Steiff-type character doll couple depicting a Walt Disney’s version of Pinocchio and Jimminy Cricket with a very sweet expression.
Very well molded felt face with painted features, side-glancing highlighted oil-cloth eyes, wide open/closed felt mouth, stitched oil-cloth gloved hands with separate fingers, firmly stuffed body con internal poseble wire structure and they come dressed in their complete.
Unmarked, very probably made in
Italy
or
Germany
, circa 1940s and designed in the style of dolls by companies like Steiff or Lenci.

Condition:
All original and complete with vivid colors, free of odors, somewhat soiled all over with some old, not noticeable, mended moth holes to Pinocchio’s face. Otherwise, fine to very fine overall condition.
